ANGUS Announces Global Price Increase for Nitromethane Products
Buffalo Grove, IL - November 19, 2007 ANGUS Chemical Company, (ANGUS) is announcing a 10% price increase globally on all grades of nitromethane (NM™ Nitromethane), effective January 1, 2008. As the original industry source for nitroparaffins, ANGUS remains today the global nitromethane supply leader. “We are committed to investment and growth in key markets for nitromethane, including hobby fuels and agriculture, to ensure the continued safe use of this molecule. Our commitment to maintaining investment levels on this important molecule makes this price increase necessary,” said Nanette Hermsen, global marketing manager for ANGUS.
